Play FootGolf at Meadowlands Golf Club!

Medowlands FootgolfFootGolf is a new concept on the Carolina coast. But with the popularity of golf and soccer, it’s well on its way to being a big hit!

Meadowlands Golf Club’s new’ 18-hole FootGolf course is accredited by the American FootGolf League (AFGL) and opened July 2014 to the general public.

FootGolf is played in a very similar fashion golf, on a golf course with traditional golf rules. The biggest difference is that in lieu of a club and small ball, FootGolfers kick a soccer ball around the course and attempt to land it in a 21-inch hole in as few kicks as possible. The FootGolf course is a par 72 played at approximately 2,420 yards.

General Manager Jason Monahan explains, “We have designed the full 18 hole FootGolf course on nine existing holes of the golf course, incorporating both sports with no modifications to the golf course. Distinctive mowing patterns define the FootGolf greens. Each par 3 golf hole has one FootGolf hole; each par 4 golf hole has two FootGolf holes, and each par 5 golf hole has three FootGolf holes. The FootGolf holes are located in or alongside the fairways, so they do not impact the golf greens. Also, since the FootGolf players move at approximately the same pace as regular golfers, we are able to accommodate both simultaneously.”

The course was designed by Monahan and tested by members of the Myrtle Beach Mutiny soccer team along with adult and youth amateur soccer players from the Grand Strand area.

FootGolf is available at Meadowlands seven days a week

Glen Dornoch

Myrtle Beach’s most talked about course.

Glen Dornoch is a masterful tribute to the legendary Donald Ross, in a spectacular setting of centuries old live oaks, marsh and Intracoastal Waterway views.

Here each hole seems to have been crafted by nature rather than by man. And the three finishing holes are among the world’s best.

Shaftesbury GlenClick here to learn more about :

Shaftesbury Glen

Inspired by Winged Foot and Augusta National, Johnston has delicately crafted a masterpiece of large, old-style rectangular tee boxes, wildly enjoyable wide open fairways – for love of the long ball – along with elevated, super-sized, immaculate Bent grass greens where balls run swift and sure and the short game is on.

Great Golf! The Pearl!

The Pearl’s fast rolling greens and finely manicured fairways are cut through the southern North Carolina forest and border the coastal marshland and Calabash River.

This dramatic property has been enhanced with an array of gardens and water features that add to the difficulty and splendor of each hole.

In addition to the magnificent landscaping, The Pearl is home to a variety of wildlife. You’ll share the course with herons, egrets, eagles, deer, and our resident gators. The Pearl is as challenging as it is beautiful.

In 1988, one year after it opened, The Pearl was nominated “Best New Public Course” by Golf Digest. Both Courses have also been ranked among the top courses in the Carolinas.

The Pearl East is a traditional course and The Pearl West is a links style course. Select East or West below for more in depth description of each course and hole by hole tips.
